About the author

In my art, I use knowledge of the collective unconscious and the mythology of different cultures to create my characters.
I combine fairy tale characters from different countries.

I am inspired and intrigued by the magical realm of fairy tales and the world of our ancestors, where spirits were an integral part of the culture. I am fascinated that we are heirs to this culture and we are all part of this world.

I use my photographs to create my works: I print them, paint them somewhere, embroider them somewhere, add patterns somewhere or make collages. I love experimenting and watching the transformation that happens to a photograph from the moment I press the camera button to the moment the work is finished.

This process completely absorbs me and allows me to immerse myself in another world, safe and filled with wonder.

Each character I create is very dear to me and lives its own life.
